[Ah yes, the start of the new term. While somewhat exciting in its own way, it was also a bit chaotic. Especially with all the new students requiring help, other teachers needing a variety of books, and other things, Tsukiko was actually kept somewhat busy. It was a change of pace from the norm, where she'd normally be hunched over her desk with a book or her laptop and a steaming cup of tea.

She can be found meandering throughout the shelves, both collecting books that have been requested, offering to help find items, or simply just making sure everything is in its proper place. Busy as she is, she's pleased enough to help anyone who needs it. The library is a wonderful place.

Of course, it's not that difficult to mistake the librarian for a student, looking as young as she does.]

I'm hoping I'll get some inspiration at some point down the road. For now, I'm simply reading these because I'm interested in them.

I can't say that's very common. Some of the other librarians I met only come to work to pick up a paycheck.

A library such as this is a vast treasure trove of knowledge that should not go to waste.

[Some of that might be a bit of ego, though. There's a fair number of volumes she's written herself...under different names, of course.]

I do agree, but there's only so many hours in the day. How much do you read?

As much as I can.

So it's your main hobby? I guess that makes sense.

My hobby is simply learning in general. There's so much out there to learn, to study. History, mechanics, biology, psychology, physics, the list really does go on and on.

I'm afraid I'm not as interested in some subject matters as much as others. I'm geared more toward science, especially physical science. It's helpful to have people who are into multiple disciplines, though.

That's understandable. Many who focus on a simple subject are able to master or come close to mastering their craft.

[Tsukiko is one of few that appreciates both magic and science equally. The world would not be as it is without both.]

Studying everything is not something I would recommend to just anyone.
