Action, On a Sunday

[New school! Living on her own! A new and no doubt bizarre world to discover.

After finishing up registration, dropping her stuff off in her (at the time empty) new room, and bidding farewell to her parents, Annie heads out into the bright, shining outdoors (okay, it's 56 degrees and cloudy) to explore her beautiful new home.

No classes today, so there should be people hanging around campus, right? PRIORITY 1 MAKE FRIENDS, PRIORITY 2 TO BE DETERMINED LATER]

[So yeah, general exploratory first-day action mingle. Have at it.]

Teacher's Lounge Mingle/Meeting, Sunday

[Sinbad sprawls onto the chair of the Teacher's lounge. He hmms softly as he noticed the rather high temperature - 85 degrees Fahrenheit, with a stretch of an arm, he reached over and cranks it down to 77, realizing that really would be too hot for most of the staff.

There's a coffee machine with hours old coffee by the door, a corkboard littered with the finest examples of Passive-Aggressiveness in English, and inspirational posters that made the Djinn's eyes roll.

He stifles a yawn as he nurses a mug of coffee in one hand, and with the other he flips through the rather large stack of memos about the new transfers for any special consideration, meetings, repeat warnings to stop messing with the thermostat among other things]

Another Semester, another crop of students, I should get the surveys printed for my class... I'm surprised a Dryad hasn't marched in to complain about the waste of paper.

Monday

[It's the start of a new semester. That means confusion, disorder, chaos. There's only one person with no social life the mindset and authority to keep her fellow students in line and organized.]

[Dlanor can be found all over the school today, giving directions, giving polite but firm reminders not to run/horse around/use superpowers, running papers for teachers, and generally being a helpful little nerd. She's somehow even projecting her little monotone voice over the general havoc, helped by her weird emphasis.]

Excuse me, are you LOST? I can help if you show me your SCHEDULE.

[The last day before classes begin again is always an exciting time. As nice as it is to have the place to herself and her music, it got pretty quiet during the off months. It also means that this has been an early morning for her. She'd already gotten the notice that she'd be having roommates coming in, so she'd made sure that Suite D was ready. The suite is cleaned up and, after reading that some places like hotels and stuff left chocolates for guests, decided that sounded like a good idea. Except when it had come time to actually put the plan into action, there'd just been too many different kinds to choose from, and it wasn't like she knew what kind they would like.

So, basically everybody in the suite has a pile of candy waiting for them on their pillow. That's obviously the best choice. People like candy, right? ... Right!]

[Other than that, Ellen can probably be found all over campus today, ready and willing to meet people and help newcomers find their way around the place. Whatever might come up.]
