Action, On a Sunday

[New school! Living on her own! A new and no doubt bizarre world to discover.

After finishing up registration, dropping her stuff off in her (at the time empty) new room, and bidding farewell to her parents, Annie heads out into the bright, shining outdoors (okay, it's 56 degrees and cloudy) to explore her beautiful new home.

No classes today, so there should be people hanging around campus, right? PRIORITY 1 MAKE FRIENDS, PRIORITY 2 TO BE DETERMINED LATER]

New York, huh? I come from Rhode Island, myself. Are you from the city, Long Island, or upstate?

Manhattan, born and raised! This is my first shot at living anywhere else.

I've been to the city a few times, but never any of the boroughs other than Manhattan. My mother says that it has nearly all of the interesting sights in the city.

Long shot, but did you ever go to an Italian joint called Annabelle while you were there?

...Hard to say. I don't actually remember any restaurant names from my times in the city.

Are you and your dad close, then?

[Shrug.] I guess. We both cook and stuff.

So which one of these rooms is yours?

[So a little bit. Still more than Athrun is with his father, though, so he welcomes the change of subject.]
