Action, On a Sunday

[New school! Living on her own! A new and no doubt bizarre world to discover.

After finishing up registration, dropping her stuff off in her (at the time empty) new room, and bidding farewell to her parents, Annie heads out into the bright, shining outdoors (okay, it's 56 degrees and cloudy) to explore her beautiful new home.

No classes today, so there should be people hanging around campus, right? PRIORITY 1 MAKE FRIENDS, PRIORITY 2 TO BE DETERMINED LATER]

[So yeah, general exploratory first-day action mingle. Have at it.]

[Celty finds herself walking about campus. She's still finding herself getting used to being out and about in the sun, even all these years after joining the school. She can see why people enjoy it so much. The feeling of the sun on your back, the soft breeze... its nice.

Granted, there's more breeze than sun today. But there's still a lot of people out and about and Celty liked to see the excited faces of new students.

On a whim, she heads to a random spot near the sidewalk with her motorcycle and starts to polish it. Her loyal horse didn't need polishing, but she felt he deserved it. He didn't get to ride as much in the old days and it was good to let him know he was still appreciated.

Clearly this will help with her image.]

[COOL STRANGER WITH MOTORCYCLE, how can she not get involved?]

Hey, you don't know me or anything but that bike is totally sweet.

[The helmet where clearly her head is located glances up in surprise. Oh hey, a new student. She glances down at her arm, where she pulls out a little PDA. She types quickly into it before lifting it up to Annie.]

[Annie. She answered your question.]

[She really shouldn't be surprised by that question anymore. And yet.

Her body imitates that of someone sighing. She doesn't realize the weirdness of the action for a headless person. Its a weird habit you pick up when pretending to be human.]

[She seems eager to move on to handshakes. Good resolution. Her helmet tilts to the side for a second in thought.]

Yep. Do you know me from somewhere?

Well, the faculty did give me your name in one of the semesterly forms. [Is semesterly a word? She could say biyearly but that sounds uptight.] I'm Celty Sturluson. I'll be sharing a Suite with you, Ms. Von Karma, and [INSERT RETCONABLE NPC HERE].

[HIGH FIVE? Right after a handshake, at that, calm down Annie.]

[What. Yes okay. She pretends to know what she's doing and attempts this high five. She manages to hit the hand just right, so she thinks she's pulled it off right. Good job Celty. Mental self-high five.]

[ Illya is clearly one of the rudest students on campus if she's planning on jumping her with a tackle. Someone has her priorities set straight, considering that she's been here for six years.

She practically knows everyone's names like the back of her hand at this point... ]

[WHOA WHAT STRANGER DANGER

She turns around in surprise, a few smokey shadows reflexively jolting out from her legs. Then her not-brain catches up with the rest of her body and she recognizes that all too familiar face and voice.

Oh boy. Illya.

The shadows quickly retreat and she attempts to shield herself as best she can from the tackling force of Illya. She quickly finds herself being pushed toward the ground.

Dammit. She hopes no one noticed those shadows. She really had to stop being so jumpy, even with characters like Illya running about.]

Eheh. Did I surprise you?

[ Such mature. Wow. Of course she'll stand properly as she adjusts herself, looking rather pleased with herself. ]

[Celty gives her a look. As best as she can give looks when you're beneath a helmet and you don't even have a head to give looks with. She reaches into her jacket as a shadow quickly dumps a PDA into her hands.]

A little. How have you been?

I got to spend time with my family over the break back in Germany. What about you, Celty? Did you do anything over the vacation?

I traveled a bit. Spent a couple days back home in Ireland. I tried to stay close to St. Augustus though.

[Ireland feels strange now that she's not terrorizing it, but it still has this nostalgic feeling to it.]

Ireland, huh... What's it like over there? [ She's quite curious, seeing as Illya's never been to anywhere besides Germany, Japan, and well... here. ]

It's nice. The forests are lovely at night. The stars are really nice too. People are alright too.

That sounds like a wonderful place. [ Illya beams at her in response. She understands what she means, since her home had a really nice forest as well. ]

Maybe I should go visit sometime.

Its worth a visit. There are quite a few nice hills and castles.

A castle? Really...? I wonder if it's as big as ours.

I'm not sure. There's a lot of them just spread out over the countryside. Maybe they're all medium sized.
