Duck's lived at the academy her entire life!

...Of course, that was as a duck, in the duck pond out back.

She's a new student, but she didn't exactly transfer in. More like she suddenly showed up and the staff treats her like she's always been there. So most students probably just think she was around and they never noticed her. (How you could possibly not notice her is beyond me.)
